Once the graduation is completed, they will be sent to any of the houses in Kerala or in Karnataka, or even other places, by the superiors for “practical Training”, a phase wherein practical responsibilities are given them to train them in the Salesian way of life. The duration of this phase can vary from person to person. Normally it is around three years. Some will be asked to do private higher studies at this.
At the end of this phase they make their final commitment to the Lord and to the Congregation with their solemn, final profession.
Followingly they are sent to Kristu Jyothi College Bangalore, or other similar Salesian study centres for their graduation in Theology.
